• "Pro Subscription": Font4Logo's paid plan that includes additional features and functionality.
• "Saved Projects": user-created projects containing font selections, texts, and settings stored in the cloud.
• "Local Font Access API": a browser API that allows Font4Logo to access fonts installed on the user's computer.
• "Cookies": small text files stored on the user's device by the website.
• "Local Storage": a web browser storage feature that allows websites to store data on the user's device.
• "Google Analytics": a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic.

3. Core Functionality: Font Detection and Display

Font detection methods

Font4Logo uses the Local Font Access API to detect fonts installed on your system, which requires your explicit permission through a browser prompt. Font4Logo also integrates the full Google Fonts catalog, loading fonts on-demand.

Local font data processing

When you grant permission to access your fonts, the information is processed entirely within your browser:

• Font files are never sent to our servers.
• Rendering and preview happen locally on your device.
• Actual font data remains on your computer at all times.
• Only information you choose to save to projects will be transmitted to our servers (selected font names).

Font export and image creation

Preview images (PNG and SVG) are generated entirely in your browser using HTML Canvas and JavaScript. Exported images are not sent to our servers. Any text you enter for preview remains on your local device.

4. Site Interaction and Analytics

Use of Cookies and Local Storage

Font4Logo uses cookies and local storage to provide a better experience by remembering your language preferences, display settings, and maintaining your user session. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand visitor usage patterns and improve our services. Google Analytics is only loaded after your explicit consent through the cookie banner. You can revoke this consent at any time. When active, the collected data is anonymous and not associated with personally identifiable information.

5. Account and Subscription Data

Information we collect

For account holders, we collect and store:

• Your email address (used as account identifier)
• Your password (encrypted, managed by Supabase Auth)
• Account preferences and settings
• Subscription details (status, renewal date)
• Saved projects (selected font names, texts, visual settings)

Payment information

We use Stripe as our payment processor. When purchasing a subscription, payment data (such as credit card information) is collected and processed directly by Stripe, not Font4Logo. We only receive limited transaction information from Stripe: your email, subscription type, and status. We do not have access to your full credit card numbers.

Use of data

The information we collect is used to:

• Account authentication and security
• Provide and improve our services
• Payment processing and subscription management
• Communicate important information and updates

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your data only with essential service providers (Supabase for authentication and storage, Stripe for payment processing, Google for Analytics).

When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data, except where we are required by law to retain certain information (such as tax and accounting records, which may be retained for up to 5 years).
